The Story

I built Cernova because I needed it.

When I was preparing for my first IT certification, I did what everyone does — I bought practice exams, watched hours of video lectures, and highlighted textbooks until the ink bled through. And after all that work, I still had no idea if I was actually ready.

The practice exams gave me a score. 72%. 81%. 76%. But what did that mean? Was I weak on identity management or vulnerability scanning? Were my mistakes concentrated in one domain or spread across all of them? No platform could tell me. I was flying blind.

I passed my exam, eventually. But the experience stuck with me. There had to be a better way to prepare — something that didn't just quiz you, but actually showed you where you stood against the real exam blueprint.

So I started building. As someone who believes deeply in what AI can enable, I saw an opportunity to combine intelligent question generation with objective-level analytics. Not just “here are 500 questions” — but “here's exactly which of the 28 exam objectives you've mastered, and here's where you need to focus next.”

The first version was rough. A PDF with practice questions that I shared with a few fellow students. Their feedback was immediate and honest: “This is what I've been looking for.” That signal — unsolicited, organic demand from people who were going through the same struggle — convinced me to build the platform you see today.

Cernova is still growing. Every question is AI-generated and carefully validated. Every score is weighted by the official exam blueprint. Every feature is designed to answer the question that haunted me during my own prep journey: Am I actually ready?
