By accessing or using Cernova (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses or uses Cernova.

2. Description of Service

Cernova is an AI-powered certification exam preparation platform. We provide practice questions, performance analytics, and study tools designed to help users prepare for IT certification exams, beginning with CompTIA Security+ SY0-701.

Important Disclaimer: Cernova is an independent, third-party practice tool. Cernova is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA. CompTIA and Security+ are registered trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. Passing Cernova practice exams does not guarantee passing the actual CompTIA Security+ certification exam.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is prohibited.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute Cernova's questions, explanations, or any other content.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass any usage limits, access controls, or security measures.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within Cernova — including practice questions, answer explanations, readiness scoring algorithms, design elements, and software — is owned by Cernova and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

6. Free and Pro Tiers

Cernova offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Features available on each tier may differ and are subject to change. The free tier may include daily question limits. Pro features are available during an active paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify tier features and pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs or viruses. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform. Practice exam results are not a guarantee of actual exam performance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cernova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. We may also discontinue the Service or any portion of it with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
